“Hi! I hope you enjoy my website and return to it often.”
Part 1 What?
I’m searching for “Oh! Wow!” moments in God’s Word. I love God, my family, my friends and crafting in that order. My goal for this website is to share both God’s Word and simple craft projects that highlight His Word. I hope what I share will put a smile both on your face and in your heart.
Part 2 Why?
I choose to do projects inspired by scripture because I want what I make to accomplish and magnify God’s Word. I believe as Isaiah 55:10-11 says that God’s Word will go forth and accomplish what He has sent it forth to accomplish. I’m hoping through this website – scripturecrafts.com – I will be able to encourage others.
Part 3 How?
By sharing scripture crafts and praying for those who visit this site I believe my goal will be accomplished which is that God’s Word will be shared.
Part 4 Who?
About me and my family: My name is Dona. I’ve been married to the same wonderful husband for over 50 years. We have an adult son; an adult daughter; one daughter-in-law, two grandsons and two granddaughters. Between my husband and I, we have 5 sisters and 5 brothers still here on earth. We also have many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. And I love everyone of them.
About me and my faith: I don’t think there was ever a time when I didn’t believe there was a God. But there was a time I thought God was just watching me from heaven. I didn’t believe He could or would do anything in my life. I blazed my own trail for many years. I messed up (sinned) a lot before I took God seriously. Now, though I still sin, I am quickly convicted and ask God and others to forgive me. The change in my life came on March 19, 1986 when I asked Jesus to come into my heart and life. And it wasn’t long before I was reading the Bible and praying God’s Word back to Him. Isaiah 55:10-11 has been my prayer compass. I believe when I pray His Word I’m praying His will. And I want His will in my life more than I want mine. I seek to love God more than anything or anyone.
