“Hi! I hope you enjoy my website and return to it often.”

Part 1 What?

I’m searching for “Oh! Wow!” moments in God’s Word.  I love God, my family, my friends and crafting in that order.  My goal for this website is to share both God’s Word and simple craft projects that highlight His Word. I hope what I share will put a smile both on your face and in your heart.

Part 2 Why?

I choose to do projects inspired by scripture because I want what I make to accomplish and magnify God’s Word.  I believe as Isaiah 55:10-11 says that God’s Word will go forth and accomplish what He has sent it forth to accomplish. I’m hoping through this website – scripturecrafts.com – I will be able to encourage others.

Part 3 How?

By sharing scripture crafts and praying for those who visit this site I believe my goal will be accomplished which is that God’s Word will be shared.

Part 4 Who?

About me and my family: My name is Dona. I’ve been married to the same wonderful husband for over 50 years.  We have an adult son; an adult daughter; one daughter-in-law, two grandsons and two granddaughters.  Between my husband and I, we have 5 sisters and 5 brothers still here on earth.  We also have many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. And I love everyone of them.

About me and my faith: I don’t think there was ever a time when I didn’t believe there was a God.  But there was a time I thought God was just watching me from heaven.  I didn’t believe He could or would do anything in my life. I blazed my own trail for many years.  I messed up (sinned) a lot before I took God seriously.  Now, though I still sin, I am quickly convicted and ask God and others to forgive me.  The change in my life came on March 19, 1986 when I asked Jesus to come into my heart and life.  And it wasn’t long before I was reading the Bible and praying God’s Word back to Him.  Isaiah 55:10-11 has been my prayer compass. I believe when I pray His Word I’m praying His will.  And I want His will in my life more than I want mine. I seek to love God more than anything or anyone.

Scripture Prayer

Lord I pray as visitors come to this website they will hear Your voice. I pray the crafts that are made will remind those making them and those they are sharing the crafts with of You and Your Word. You say Your Word that goes out of Your mouth will not return to You void but will accomplish what You desire it to accomplish, will succeed in the matter for which You sent it. So I’m believing that Your voice will be heard through this website (Isaiah 55:10-11 AMP). In Your Son, Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.

Scripture prayed in the above prayer: Isaiah 55:10-11  (AMP) 10  “For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth, Making it bear and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11  So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

“Even if you can’t visit here every day, I hope you still search for Oh! Wow! moments.” <>< Dona
