Genesis 30:1-24 Rachel did not wait for God to give her children.

Response

“Oh! Wow!” Lord, Rachel was impatient.

Something to think about

We should not take matters into our own hands and rush ahead of God as Rachel did.  When we trust God we should resist the temptation to think God had forgotten us. We should patiently wait for Him to act on our behalf.

Prayer

Lord I pray we will wait patiently on You and Your plan for our life (James 5:7). In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.

Genesis 31:4-13 Laban treated Jacob unfairly.

Response

“Oh! Wow!” Lord, You blessed Jacob.

Something to think about

God is able to meet our needs and make us successful even when others mistreat us.  We shouldn’t try to get even with those who mistreat us. For then we would be no different than them.

Prayer

Lord I pray we will treat others as we want them to treat us (Luke 6:31).In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.   AMEN.

“May you and I treat others as we would like to be treated.” <>< Dona
