In Genesis 24 Abraham sent his servant to find a wife for Isaac.
Response
“Oh! Wow!” Abraham’s servant called on the God of his master Abraham to give him success in finding Isaac a wife.
Something to think about
Abraham’s servant believed that Abraham’s God would guide him. Abraham’s servant didn’t refer to Abraham’s God as his God though.
Something to experience
We need to seek God’s guidance daily and continually.
Prayer
Lord I pray we will trust in You as our God. I pray we will seek Your guidance daily and continually. (Matthew 7:7). In Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.

In Genesis 26:6-11 We see a particular sin being repeated.
Response
Does this story sound familiar? See Genesis 20:1-13
Something to think about
Beware of sins that seem to appear out of nowhere. We can be drawn to sins committed by past generations.
Prayer
Lord I pray we will not be drawn away by evil but will pursue You and Your plan for our life (Deuteronomy 30:17; II Timothy 2:22; I Peter 3:11). In Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.

In Genesis 26:12-22 Isaac sought peace.
Response
Isaac gave up two wells then settled on a third one.
Something to think about
Instead of conflict Isaac chose to comply. For he believed (see verse 22) God was in control.
Prayer
