In Esther 7 when the king discovered Haman’s intentions he was hung on the gallows he had built for Mordecai.
Response
Oh! Wow! Lord, Haman’s hatred and evil plotting against the Jews brought disaster upon his life.
Something to think about
Proverbs 26:27 teaches that a person who digs a pit for others will fall into it himself. What happened to Haman shows the results of setting a trap for someone else.
Something to experience
We should consider the consequences before we take any actions against someone else.

In Esther 8 the king could not reverse the edict that Haman had instigated to kill all the Jews but the king could give Mordecai a chance to come up with a plan to save him and his people.
Response
Oh! Wow! Mordecai was able to come up with a plan to save the Jews.
Something to think about
Esther and Mordecai weren’t looking for earthly rewards for what they did for the Jews but they received some anyway (see verses 1-2).
Something to experience
When we do what’s right we too may receive unexpected blessings from God.

In Esther 9 the Jews are delivered from harm.
Response
Oh! Wow! Lord, because of Esther’s bravery and Mordecai’s wisdom all the Jews were saved.
Something to think about
The price to be paid by God’s heroes is a long-term commitment to doing what is right.
Something to experience
Are you and I ready and willing to do what’s right no matter the price?
************************
In Esther 10 we see God at work in the lives of individuals and in the nation as a whole.
Response
Oh! Wow! Lord, You were then and are now in control.
Something to think about
Even when it looks like evil has taken over, God is still in control.
Something to experience
We may not understand all that is going on, but we can trust God to protect us and help us to do what is right. No matter how hopeless the situation looks don’t despair. For God is indeed in control.
