My Psalms Prayer

Lord, I ask You to remember those of us who are helpless (Psalm 10:12).  Lord I ask You to observe us and examine us, Your children (Psalm 11:4).  Lord, I pray we will not fall away or cease to be faithful to You (Psalm 12:1).  Lord, I believe You have not forgotten us, Your children.  I believe You have not hidden Your face from us, Your children.  I humbly ask You to counsel us.  I ask You to show us what to do as we face our enemies (Psalm 13:1-2).  Lord, I ask for wisdom to seek Your knowledge and to stay away from sin (Psalm 14:4).  Lord, I pray we, Your children, will walk blamelessly before You.  I pray we will do what is right.  I pray we will speak the truth to ourselves and others (Psalm 15:2). Lord, I ask You to scattered our enemies (Psalm 18:14). Lord, I ask You to set us on high places away from evil (Psalm 18:33).   Lord, I thank You for Your peace.  I ask You to stop any wars that are now on this earth. I ask You to remove both the tangible and intangible weapons that are being used across our nation. For we can harm with guns, knives and clubs but we can also harm with our words and behavior (Psalm 46:9).  Lord, I pray we, Your children, will praise You to the ends of the earth for Your right hand is full of righteousness (Psalm 48:10). Lord, I pray we will continually listen for, listen to, and obey You, our God (Psalm 50:7).  Lord, I pray we will come close to You.  For You, Sovereign Lord, are our refuge.  I pray we will tell of all Your works (Psalm 73:28). Lord, thank You for being in control of even those who are men of war (Psalm 76:5-6). Lord, thank You for being our Shepherd (Psalm 77:20).  Lord, thank You for filling the universe with Your Presence (Psalm 104:3). Lord, thank You for being Judge over all the earth (Psalm 110:6). Lord, thank You for giving us ample opportunities to turn to You.  I pray we all will come to You before it is time for You to judge us (Psalm 119:120, 126). In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.
