“The following scriptures have been chosen because they were referenced in yesterday’s reading (Obadiah through Jonah 4). Please read them and either pray them aloud or write out a prayer using these verses. I believe praying God’s Word is powerful and effective (see James 5:16).” <>< Dona

Psalm 107:23-26, 28 (WEB) 23 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters; 24 These see the Lord’s deeds, and His wonders in the deep. 25 For He commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves. 26 They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble. … 28Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distress.
My prayer: Lord, thank You for revealing to us Your handiwork. Thank You for rescuing us when we cry out to You. In Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.
