Psalm 123:1-4.

I lift up my eyes to you,
   you who sit in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,
    as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress;
    so our eyes look to the Lord, our God,
    until He has mercy on us.
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us,
    for we have endured much contempt.
Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease,
    with the contempt of the proud.

My Prayer: Lord, I pray we will lift up our eyes to You.  I pray we will look to Your hand for our daily provisions. I pray we will look to You for mercy.  At this time in our nation’s history, some of us are experiencing contempt from our fellow citizens.  We have endured their ridicule because of who and what we believe in. Help us Lord.  Please show us Your plan and Your purpose for each of us.  In Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.
