Oh! Wow! Lord this moment would have been hidden from me if I had not read my Bible notes.

Something to think about

38 years after the first census in Numbers 1:1-2:33, a new census was taken. During that lapse of time every Israelite man and woman that was over 20 years of age died – except Caleb, Joshua and Moses.  And yet God’s laws and the spiritual character of the nation of Israel were still intact.  A whole nation moved from one land to another and lost its entire adult population, yet managed to maintain its spiritual direction.

Something to experience

Though at times it may not seem like God is working in our lives, God often is working in quiet ways to bring about His long-range purposes. Don’t give up or give in.  Keep your eyes on God.

Lord I pray we will look to Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.  Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and is now seated at the right hand of Your throne. (Hebrews 12:2).  Lord I pray we will pay close attention to the development of our relationship with You (I Timothy 4:16). Lord I pray we will do all we can to draw our family members into a relationship with You too (I Timothy 5:8; Proverbs 24:3; Proverbs 31:25).  In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.
