In Exodus 32:31-34 Moses asked God to forgive the Israelites’ sin.

Response

Oh! Wow! Lord Moses was willing to give his life for the Israelites.

Something to think about

God told Moses He would send an angel to lead them but He wasn’t going to overlook the sins of the Israelites.

Something to experience

Did you know angels walking among us? (see Hebrews 13:2; Hebrews 1:14; Matthew 4:6; Psalm 91:11) You may have been near or personally encountered an angel and not even known it.

Prayer

Lord thank You for commanding Your angels to protect, defend and guard us as we, those who are saved, obey and service You (Psalm 91:11, Hebrews 1:14). Lord I pray we will extend hospitality to strangers, who may even be angels. I pray we will be friendly, cordial and gracious. I pray we will share what we have and do our part generously (Hebrews 13:2). In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.

In Exodus 33:12-23 God promised Moses His Presence would go with Moses. God told Moses he had found favor in His sight and that He knew Moses by name.

Response

Oh! Wow! You the God of the Universe knew Moses by name.

Something to think about

God knows each of us personally.  He loves all of us and wants all of us to be saved.   But God lets us decide where we want to spend eternity (John 3:16).

Prayer

Lord I pray we will acknowledge that You are our Creator.  And that You formed us.  I pray we will not fear.  Thank You for redeeming us.  I pray we will hear You call us by name.  I pray You will go with us.  I pray we will not be overwhelmed. I pray we will not be harmed. For You are our Lord, the Holy One of Israel, our Savior.  I pray we will be precious in Your sight.  I pray we will experience the love You have for us.  I pray we will love You in return (Isaiah 43:1-7).  In Christ Jesus name I pray.  AMEN.
