Today I suggest you read Exodus 1 through 4: Please look for and record any “Oh Wow!” moments you discover even if I’ve not recorded them on this website. If you have time please share them with me.

Exodus 1:15-22.

Response: “Oh! Wow!” Lord I believe You put it in each of the midwives’ heart to save the Hebrew babies even though Pharaoh commanded them to be killed.

Something to think about:  God’s Word says children are a reward from God.  His Word also says we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  If you have had an abortion or helped someone else to have one, please know God loves you and He will forgive and heal you.  Just go talk to Him about it.

Prayer: Lord I pray all parents will consider their children as a reward from You (Psalm 127:3).  I pray all of us will realize we each were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).   I ask You to heal the hearts of those who have been involved in any way with abortion. In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.

Exodus 3:1-6  Moses, while taking care of his father-in-law’s flock, came upon a burning bush. God called to Moses out the middle of the bush.

Exodus 3:7-22.

Response: “Oh! Wow!” Lord You wanted to include Moses in Your plan for Your people.

Something to think about:  Moses doubted his ability to carry out God’s plan (verse 11).  Aren’t we sometimes like Moses?  We hear God’s plan but we doubt ourselves or our ability to accomplish it.  We actually have something Moses didn’t have.  If we are a Christian we have the Holy Spirit living in us.

Prayer: Lord I pray we will say yes to You when You call us to live out the plans You have for us (Jeremiah 29:11-13). I pray we will trust the Holy Spirit within us to lead us (John 14:26, Acts 1:8).  In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.

Exodus 4:1-9.

Response: “Oh! Wow!” Even though Moses doubted that others would believe him, Lord You patiently showed Moses what You could do through him.

Something to experience: My daughter told me many years ago: “Obedience is doing what I’m told to do, when I’m told to do, with the right heart attitude.” That statement has stayed with me.

Prayer: Lord I pray we will throw down every stronghold, every imagination and every high thing that is keeping us from being obedient to You.  I pray we will bring every thought captivity to the obedience of Your Son Christ Jesus (II Corinthians 10:3-5). Lord I pray we will do more than is expected of us (Philemon 1:21).  Lord, I pray we will walk blamelessly before You.  I pray we will do what is right and speak truth in our heart (Psalm 15:2).  In Christ Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN.

I pray you will have a wonderful, God filled day.
