Part 1 What
Yesterday I began the labor of love of decorating our home. I turned up my CD player and blasted it through our home for about 3 hours. Amy Grant, Steve Curtis Chapman and Andrea Bocelli all joined me as I opened a few plastic storage boxes. Around 6 pm “precious” little children began coming to our door for candy. Since I wasn’t in a hurry to finish, I set aside my decorating until today.
Part 2 Why
This morning the Lord got me up early. This was one of those times my mind was so full of thoughts I just had to get up and do what I believed God was speaking to me. God was reminding me that I used the word “precious” a few times in yesterday’s posting and I believe He wants me to share with you what I found at biblegateway.com; biblestudytools.com; and in the Webster-Merriam Dictionary this morning.
The word “precious” is found in the Amplified Bible over 100 times. I won’t listen all the verses but I do want to share some of them with you. I’ll list who and what are “precious” and the location of the verses. But first the definitions of “precious.”

Prayer
Lord thank You for all the gifts from above that You have showered down on us (James 1:17 AMP). You are a great and mighty God (Deuteronomy 10:17 AMP) and we are so blessed (Luke 6:21 AMP). May we always give thanks to You before we ask You for anything (I Thessalonians 5:18 AMP). Thank You for all those who have touched us and made a difference in our lives. I pray we will make a difference too (I Thessalonians 5:11 AMP; Hebrews 10:24 AMP). In Your Son, Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN.
