Part 1 What
I haven’t had time today to work on decorating our home because my dear husband took me to St. Mary’s Rummage Sale in Plantersville, Texas. We actually made two trip there. We spent some time in the morning shopping, went to lunch, and then came back for the half price sale in the afternoon. We had a very productive trip.
Part 2 Why
We found lots of things to buy and most at wonderfully low prices. I succeeded in finding quite a few things that I can re-purpose, recycle, restore or glam up. I’m so blessed to have a husband who likes to shop. Together we are always on the look out to purchase things for those we love. And since we garage sale so much they sometimes even ask us to keep our eyes open for certain items.
While at the rummage sale I had serious conversations with two different women. One was a young mother struggling with putting her children into the public school system. Because my daughter home schools I encouraged this young mom to check out homeschooling. I might not have answers to her questions but I believe my daughter does, so that’s why I passed on my email to her. The second woman I talked to shared with me that she was attending a Bible study at a church where they believed the Old Testament was not God’s Word. I encouraged her to either stay at that church and consider herself a missionary or to find a church that believed as she (and I) do and begin going there. I also shared my email with her.
God is so good. He let me have fun and still used me to encourage two women.
Part 3 How
Below are some of the items I purchased today. During the next few days I hope to complete projects with these items and post the end results. And I’ll even tell you how I did it.

Above are the purchased I plan to re-purpose, recycle, restore or glam up in the next few days. I’ll post photos as I finish each project.
Prayer
Lord thank You for giving us the strength and power to do all You call us to do (Philippians 4:13 AMP). I pray we will walk in union with Your Son, our Lord Christ Jesus. I pray we will reflect His character in all we say and do. I pray the way we live will point others to Your Son, Christ Jesus and lead them away from sin (Colossians 2:6 AMP). Lord I pray we will always speak with great confidence, so that those who have trusted in, relied on and accepted Your Son Christ Jesus as Savior will be careful to participate in doing good and honorable things (Titus 3:8 AMP). Lord I pray we will trust You as the source of everything. Lord I pray we will decrease and Your Son, Christ Jesus will increase in prominence in our lives (John 3:27-30 AMP). In His name I pray. AMEN.
